Brand new Silk Way Rally route through Russia, Mongolia and China

The ninth edition of the Silk Way Rally will take place next year from 6 to 16 July 2019. During the upcoming edition there will be a brand new route, and a new category for motorbikes.

The start will be held in Irkoutsk (Russia) on 6 July 2019 and then the race will take competitors on this new edition across the magnificent scenery of southern Siberia and Lake Baïkal, onto Ulan Bator, to cross Mongolia from north to south, before a final Chinese chapter in the oasis adorned dunes of the Gobi Desert. The finish will be held in Dunhuang on 16 July, after 5000 kilometers.

  • Presentation in Paris on 21 November
  • Scrutineering: 5 and 6 Juli 2019
  • Rally: 6 until 16 Juli 2019 (Podium and official start on 6 Juli)

  • 10 stages – 5000 kilometers
  • Irkoutsk (Lake Baïkal) – Ulan Bator – Dunhuang
