Only six riders complete tough Kings Stage: Kaiser victorious
The third day of the Tuareg Rallye is traditional the day of one of the highlights during the rally. Only five riders completed the brutal Kings Stage, Thorsten Kaiser won his second stage of the rally.
Kaiser was just over 12 minutes faster than Dominique Robin. Kay-Arne Bulsink got a third place and rode one hour longer on the stage. Austrian Ferdinand Kreidl came home in fourth place, with a three minute margin over Belgian rider Mathieu Delmotte.
Kaiser was happy with his second win, despite the injury that is causing him some trouble. Kaiser said: "I was lucky that I could start this rally after an accident at work two weeks for the race. We had a big fight with the doctors to decide I could race. I don't really know what to say about today, I really like the dunes here but it's very tricky. Usually you can see the surface of the waves and decide where you can ride but that's more difficult now."

Team Puckert came in second before Simon Geldard and Liam Griffin. Ronald Broomans finished fourth. In SxS-class the win was for Team Pendikainen from Finland once again.
Clemens Eicker dominated again in Quads, he was the sixth rider in total to complete the full Kings Stage. The German rider finished just after five hours and was almost four hours faster than Patrick Robin. Giovanni Stefani came in third.
