Participants ready for challenging Tuareg Rally 2017
Scrutineering for the 2017-edition Tuareg Rally found place on Saturday in Midelt. Participants and service crews completed the scrutineering and paperworks in time for the start on Sunday when the race will kick off with a stage of 420 kilometres.
On the startlist for the nineteenth edition consists 83 participants from Great Britain, 82 Italians, 66 Germans and 26 Dutch participants.
Tuareg-promotor Rainer Autenrieth offers the participants a challenging rally the next week. During the stages competitors will cross around 400 kilometre of Dunes.
The first stage on Sunday will have a special stage of 420 kilometres long to the Desert Camp. From there three stages will take place round Merzouga with the traditional Kings Stage as well, which is one of the toughest stages of the rally.
