Eurol in Dakar: Stage 6 cancelled due to heavy rainstorms
The organization decided to cancel the sixth stage of the Dakar Rally. Poor weather with a lot of rain made it impossible to start the stage. It gives the Eurol-supported participants to get tiredness out of the body.
The bivouac of Oruro was flooded and competitors couldn’t do any work on there vehicles, let alone sleep in a tent. Today, the whole bivouac was packed up and transferred to La Paz.
In La Paz, the competitors get to enjoy a restday. For many of the competitors it will be cause to get as much sleep as possible and to get the bike, car, quad or truck in the best condition possible for the six stages still to come.
